The past for the present
Erik plunders through the ashes to find the remnants of a painting. It appears to be George Washington. The city is dark and dreary. Ash is seen everywhere. A statue of Doctor Leonard Swartzen is seen amongst all the rubble. Beneath the statue there is an inscription. "The man who saved the world." "Saved the world from disease, destroyed it in chaos," replies Erik. The doctor was able to cure all the sick that were encountered. The disease became virtually destroyed. After the end of the disease, Dr. Swartzen called for an end of another issue, democracy. The people agreed. The Swartzen led rebels fought off the government with a quick victory. After the fall of the government, the people were left looking for a new leader. They found the new leader in Dr. Swartzen. The people found the charisma in Dr. Swartzen to be that of a great leader. He was a person who would lead them to great victory. Swartzen's early days as the dictator consisted of many hardships for people. Opression was common amongst those who were not rich. Those who could best benefit Dr. Swartzen were those who lived gloriously. The people who were struggling in poverty quickly developed problems with the new dictator. The Legendary Doctor Leonard Swartzen
Doctor Leonard Swartzen found what the people wanted... a cure for the disease that cost the lives of so many. The development of the cure with the support of the fall. Doctor Leonard Swartzen, a political activist, often times cited the government for the hardships given to the people of the country. The government let this disease out. It was the failure of the government to protect its people. Only one person had the answers. "People, do not look blame the one escapee for the loss of your loved ones. That man is not responsible for the many casualities that this disease has caused. The government allowed this disease to escape and multiply. No government doctor found a cure. No government budget acquired the cure. I have the cure. It is through my power and might that is have created the cure. The cure for the mass spread disease. The cure for humanity. We must cure this disease first, then deal with the rest of the ordeals furthermore. Thank you. " The audience exploded with applause. The general public was left with only one option, follow the path of a doctor they knew so little about.
The Scheme
The distraction was sent in the form of one man with an unexplainable sickness. An incurable sickness that would spread across the multitudes. The many people it came in contact with were soon stuck ill by this disease. Many lives across the country were lost. The man had come in contact with a sick animal that was being treated in a remote "controlled" facility. The man was allowed to escape from the facility after being in contact with the disease. The government knew all of this action. The people across the nation watched as their loved ones fell to this disease. Only one was to blame for the outbreak of the disease, the government of the United States. People began to demand the end of the government. "Democracy has failed" was chanted throughout the streets. The people cried for help, and only one man came to their rescue, Leonard Swartzen.

The Three Shots
The smoke still lingered as the first three shots were fired. The crowd went into chaos. "What has happened?" echoed amongst the general population. "What have we witnessed?" The three shots had left no one dead. No one was left struggling for their life. Three simple shots that caused no damage had left the crowd so distraught. The news quickly caught word of the incident as reporters covered the scene. Frantic movements were scene everywhere. The world tuned into the story to uncover the events that happened. This was no regular group event, but a speech given to the people of the United States by their president. The people were all anticipating the news. The report finally arrived after many hours of careful discovery. Everyone was alright. The shots were fired by a prankster looking for his instant fame. After four weeks, the president was ready to address the nation again. This time he needed to address a larger issue. A widespread sickness had passed throughout the country. The death toll had begun to rise. The crowd, upset and disappointed, booed as the president made his speech. "Tonight, we mourn the lives of those who have suffered at the hands of this sickness. We, as the government of the United States of America, are fighting hard to keep this sickness quarantined. Our mission is to not only control this disease, but to stop it. Thank you." The crowd booed the president as he left the stage. The night of the three shots was not simply a prank , but an elaborate distraction.
